Estas interesado en attender una clase de seguridad informatica? Si su respuesta es si, dejenos saber! Estamos buscano interes para ofrecer la clase.
Security+
Esta clase introduce los temas fundamentales de seguridad informatica y manego de riesgo al nivel de la organizacion. Cubre equipo fisico, digital, procesos, comunicacion, programas, policias y procedimientos. Esta clase prepara estudiantes para tomar el CompTIA Security+ examen. Estudiantes pueden obtener credito cuando se inscriben a Cabrillo College.
Estructura
La clase esta dividia en 16 semanas, correspondiendo on nuestro semestre. La clase contiene instruction por video, actividades interactivas en plataformas diferentes como Google Cloud, National Cyber League, Netlab, TryHackMe y colaboracion por Discord.
Estudiantes participaran en NCL ($35) y TryHackMe (gratis; pero tienen una subscripcion de $10/mes)
Precio: $150
Este precio es similar a nuesteras classes del colegio, sin las tarifas que normalmente existe al tomar una clase de colegio.
El Instructor
Irvin Lemus es primojenito de padres de El Salvador. El tiene licenciatura de ciencia en seguridad informatica y mantiene estas certificaciones: CISSP, Security+, CySA+, CSAP. Irvin tiene 4 años de experiencia enseñando clases en colegios comunitarios en California. El ha pesentado en estas conferencias: WASTC, BlackHat, Defcon y Hope. Are you interested in taking cybersecurity classes in Spanish? If so, we need your input! We are looking for enough interest to get this off the ground.
Security+
This course introduces fundamental principles and topics of Information Technology Security and Risk Management at the organizational level. Addresses hardware, software, processes, communications, applications, and policies and procedures. This class prepares students for the CompTIA Security+ Exam. Students can receive college credit later when they sign up at Cabrillo College.
Class Structure
The class is broken down into 16 weeks, aligning with our typical college semester. It contains video lectures, hands-on labs on various platforms such as Google Cloud, National Cyber League, Netlab, TryHackMe and collaboration via Discord.
Students would participate in NCL ($35) and TryHackMe (free; but there is a $10/month upgrade available)
Price: $150
This price is just about the same as our Community College courses, without the extra fees usually found when taking a college course.
About The Instructor
Irvin Lemus is a native Spanish speaker; firstborn to immigrant parents from El Salvador. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance and holds the following certifications: CISSP, Security+, CySA+, CSAP. He has 4 years of experience teaching at community colleges in California. He has also spoken at conferences such as WASTC, BlackHat, Defcon and Hope.
